Great Plains Streetrodders
The Great Plains Streetrodders are all about cruising, but they definitely like to eat as well. This club gathers every Wednesday, often at area restaurants, and sometimes members kid each other that they are an eating club as much as they are a car club. When they aren't meeting at restaurants, they are usually having barbecues or picnics at various parks. They also organize cruises to other areas, sometimes to participate in a car show or just to see the scenery. But they aren't just interested in satisfying their own interests. They also help raise funds for local charities. Besides holding their own fund raisers, they also participate in the Siouxland Car Council. The vehicles participating in Great Plains Streetrodders events vary widely. The club includes any special interest vehicles, and members' cars vary from economical Ramblers to drag-racing hotrods. Anyone interested in old cars is invited to join. For more information contact: Kevin Kappenman (President) 605 336-2116 or Roger VanNoort (Vice President) 605-582-6437.
